The action is called Diseases in danger of extinction ... Vaccines save lives and there will be many activities in the Museum of Natural Sciences of Madrid in order to increase the training and information on vaccines and the importance of prevention and the use that these have had for social welfare.

It is the result of a Survey conducted by Nielsen and Sanofi Pasteur MSD. Among the results, it is indicated that only two out of ten Spaniards know where they have their vaccination card. It has also been published that 45% of the interviewees affirm that they do not have a vaccination card and the remaining 35% do not know where they keep it. And is that vaccines are essential against seasonal flu, tetanus, measles and chickenpox.
Vaccines against seasonal flu and tetanus are those with the highest recognition by the population (55% and 48% respectively), followed by measles (46%) and chicken pox (42%). Vaccines for rotavirus and human papillomavirus (HPV) are also more knowledgeable among the group of parents and the age groups between 31 and 45 years.
The survey analyzes the attitude of Spanish parents towards vaccination and thus indicates that 75% of parents are unaware of the next vaccine they should give their child. It also indicates that the safety and efficacy of vaccines are supported by the Spanish population with 67%. It is also indicated that two out of three Spanish respondents indicated that When you get vaccinated, you don't only take into account individual protection against viruses, but also that of everyone around you.
