I present it to you without having read, but knowing that it will meet my expectations (these things are intuited). Why ?, because since it is a text that It helps to understand mothers (especially the first time); It establishes a healthy relationship between society and mothers that is destined to break insulations, and value such an important figure. 'Especially when it seems they don't do anything', because a mother is always doing something for her children (and I don't mean sewing the bottoms of the pants, or sweeping them so they don't swallow dust). The vigils are undervalued, and so are the concerns due to insecurity., the capacity to comfort mothers is undervalued, and the internal conflicts that one has when the instinct says one thing and the environment another.
But exhaustion is also undervalued, and the need for recognition, loneliness and so many things!
It seems that this book brings us an intelligent, unique and comforting approach, which will help you feel (feel) safer; to find one's own path in which it is probably the most intense and powerful experience in a woman's life.
Naomi knows what she is talking about, and the mothers we just need a little support to assert ourselves in our role. I recommend it, and I plan to read it, because although I am not a first-time mother, I need to meet that part of me that has been stored somewhere (the first experiences as a mother), and above all I need to redefine my path (a path that is so Long as rewarding in this of motherhood.
