This is one of those crafts consisting of follow an outline with needle and wool (or embroidery thread). For many these types of activities are outdated, but in my house they are useful in order to work the concentration of children (especially one), in addition to our case (and together with reading and quiet music) serve to relax the atmosphere late in the day.
I have found them in Hand made Charlotte, and they are the proposal of a mother of five children, so we have no excuse to find some time a day to devote to making crafts with our children (if she can how can we not be able to! ).
Necessary materials:
- Templates that are downloaded from your pagea (Betty Bouffant, Hazel Bob, Ida Braids, Seymour Spike), light colored cards, thick blunt needles, scissors, embroidery thread.
How do we do it:
It's very simple: after downloading and printing the chosen template, we paste it on a cardboard (we can also have printed it on it), and we color it if we don't have color ink.
Then we practice small holes on the marks of the templates with a punch, to follow the contours of the hair on the dolls with needle and colored threads. A very successful effect remains, and it is tremendously entertaining.
