Today it has been made public that the III edition of 'Restaurants against hunger' (developed during the last months of 2012) has achieved 110,000 euros to fight malnutrition. This campaign promoted by Action Against Hunger strengthens itself among Spanish society as an optimal opportunity to combine leisure and solidarity.
Customers from 535 restaurants in 50 participating provinces have had the opportunity to choose solidarity dishes thus contributing to the fight against child malnutrition, which ends the life of 6,800 children every day. In spite of the economic moments that we are going through, once again, the hotel establishments They have turned to this initiative that combines the enjoyment of bars and restaurants, a leisure model closely linked to our society, with the possibility of carrying out a solidarity act.
The number of participating establishments has been increasing since the first edition. In the same way, more and more people are making their contribution to the anti-child malnutrition projects of the NGO.
We hope that the fourth edition of Restaurants Against Hunger remain so successful.
