Calendar to know the probable date of delivery (FPP)

One of the great doubts, both for future mothers and for professionals who carry out the controls, is what the probable date of delivery (FPP) will be.

In case a woman's rules are regular (28 days) and if she was not taking birth control pills just before she got pregnant, the delivery date is 40 weeks after the first day of the last period.

In order to quickly see what the probable date of delivery is, we offer you a calendar with which the 40 weeks are calculated from the date of the last rule (FUR)

The first day of the last rule is taken into account because that day is considered day 1 within a menstrual cycle and ovulation occurs on day 14. As fertilization occurs that day or even two or three days later, the date Pregnancy is not determined according to the day of sexual intercourse.

To use the calendar you must look for the first day of the last rule on the dates that are in bold. The number that appears below that date will be the probable due date. For example, if the FUR was July 11, the estimated date is April 17 of the following year.

In the case of a leap year, one day must be added, after any date after February 29.
