The digestive specialists of the Hospital 12 de Octubre in Madrid diagnosed little Dani, a native of Parla (Madrid), with chronic myeloid leukemia, when his mother Vanesa took him to test him in November 2017.
It is a very rare type of cancer in children and with very few registered cases.
Dani's disease is a cancer of the bone marrow that is characterized by an uncontrolled increase in the production of some of the cells it produces, something that does not usually occur until about 56 years.
