Fisher-Price iXL, the electronic reader for children

I am of the opinion that there is no minimum age to bring our children closer to the world of letters, readings, books and magazines. We cannot deny that technological advances can vary the way we make that approach. Today we bring a clear example when talking about Fisher-Price's new invention, an electronic reader for children aged three to six.

Recently we saw a pen that read stories, an interesting gadget to which we added this manufactured by the toy company of Mattel, a reader of e-books childish.

This electronic reader is designed for children, for children between three and six years old who will approach reading and writing while doing other recreational activities: draw, color, listen to music

The reader is equipped with a quite resistant color touch screen that is capable of withstanding blows, something fundamental for the use that children of these ages will give it. It comes with its own stylus that is attached to the reader with a cable to avoid losses, although for certain activities you can use the device with your hands.

The iXL incorporates preloaded games, animated stories and other applications that can be increased thanks to a download system (it has a USB port).

Fisher-Price iXL, the electronic reader for children will go on sale in summer 20101 and its price will be around 60 euros. We will have to wait a few months to see it up close, although it seems very interesting.
