Children's Theater: "Ras!", A show for the senses

This weekend I have been able to see images of a show for children that I thought was that, a spectacle for the senses. It's about the children's play "Ras!", a montage that fascinates children from three years with an explosion of colors and movements on a magic canvas.

The title of the work, "Ras!", Is an onomatopoeia that mimics the sound the brush makes when making a stroke on the canvas. A painter drawing with his brush: "ras, ras, ras". Many more sounds we will see in this show that ensures that the spectators, the children, are practically inside the scene, almost touching it.

The spectator-stage distance is thus broken and the attention of the children is better captured, although what is happening before their eyes is not difficult.

The work combines dance, theater and plastic arts, with a staging in which new technologies are also involved. Draw with your finger without touching the canvas (the picture is the stage floor), erase the strokes rolling above them, combine colors and lights in fun images ...

The only two protagonists of the play are able to move the children to a beach, to the bottom of the sea, to the inside of a watermelon or to fly through the sky. All in a beautiful setting in which the lights and shadows play an important role alongside the figures that play with them. Even a child will have to participate in the show ... This is the argument of "Ras!":

Joan loves to draw. He draws everything. The arrival of Lluna causes him a great curiosity. flush! It shows us the encounter between Joan and Lluna. Lluna discovers Joan the color. A universe of lines, colors and shapes opens before them. With their imagination and their strokes, they create new spaces and open the doors to a fantastic world. Together they draw a little adventure from which a great friendship is born.

In short, if this work passes through your city (it has just been in Valencia, Spain) do not forget to take your children, surely they will enjoy with the spectacle for the senses that this work for children, "Ras!".
