I have found this request of host families of an urgent nature very human, so I have thought of transferring it to the blog in case we can somehow help these children.
Are needed ALREADY at least 10 people or host families to offer a family environment to babies under three years old, mostly newborns. By the end of the year they need a total of 15 host families. They are currently hosted in specialized centers in Biscay, but have thought it would be more appropriate to find a temporary family to give them a warmer environment than a center. And they do well, since the feeling of protection, feeling loved and cared for by a family is essential during the first months of a baby.
People interested in the emergency baby care program called "All children need a home. For this one, it is urgent" they must have experience in the care of young children, have sufficient time available to attend to it, and fundamentally, be clear that the objective is not adoption and that when the foster care period ends (maximum 6 months) they will have to separate from these minors and support the transit process towards a new family situation.
The part of the separation is the least cheerful, but there is much that can be provided to these babies, and surely much more what they can provide to their host families.
