The most popular costumes among children

Children love to dress up, and in fact it is a great game, as it helps them to disinhibit themselves and stimulate their imagination by becoming a character they admire and putting into play the symbolic game.

If you still do not have one at home, I recommend you enable a trunk, a box or a costume drawer where you can store clothes that you no longer use, hats, necklaces and accessories so that children can go to it when they want to dress up.

It is very nice to make the costumes at home, but sometimes the lack of skill or almost always the lack of time means that we end up buying the costumes already made, but remember that before making them or buying them you must take into account some recommendations.

The truth is that children, with homemade or purchased costumes, enjoy dressing up. But let's see which costumes boys and girls like best.

As Halloween approaches, the costume party par excellence, toy stores are filled with costumes for the little ones. A survey done in the Toy “R” Us stores in the United States reveals children's preferences.

Children choose, first of all, the costumes of Star Wars characters, followed by those of Ben 10, a cartoon character (I think in Spain it is not as popular) and then more traditional ones such as Power Rangers, Batman, Transformers and the Incredible Hulk.

Girls prefer Disney Princesses like Cinderella, Snow White and The Little Mermaid first. They also like to be characterized as Tinker Bell, the Bella, from the Disney movie and Jasmine de Aladdin, followed by the popular Hanna Montana of High School Musical for the oldest. As for superheroines, they opt for Batwoman (Batichica) and Wonder Woman.

It is not so different from what we played as children. I was a Wonder Woman fan, the princess thing was not my forte, and the children disguised themselves as some superhero. It seems that tastes have not changed so much.
