PayaSOSpital, provide smiles to hospitalized children

There are several associations, foundations or campaigns that aim to make children who must remain hospitalized for illness, take it as well as possible. We know the cyberaula of the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville, the hospital classrooms, the mobile toy libraries, the smile doctors of the Teodora Foundation, etc.

Today we know PayaSOSpital, an association that contributes to improving the quality of life of children with long stays in hospitals, which in addition to being deprived of their family environment, suffer serious illnesses. The PayaSOSpital team is made up of professional clowns prepared to carry out this activity, in collaboration with doctors and psychologists, who visit the different rooms of the pediatrics service of the hospitals in which they intervene, in Valencia, Alicante and Castellón, for eleven months a year.

Clowns encourage children as they know they like it, they can do classic parodies or improvise, they play magic games, juggle, tell stories or stories, sing songs, etc. They can also involve the child, family members and the health service there.

Nurse Mina Mercromina, Nurse Aspirino, Consuero Gotera "Dotora" and nurse, Dr. Cirujuana or Anesthesio el Camillero, are some of the clowns who visit small patients by providing smiles and distraction through humor and fantasy. Congratulations on your work!
