A mother criticizes the parents who complain about the shopping back to school: "Do you know how much I would pay the teachers to take my children out of my sight?"

"Back to school" is a theme that is usually seen in different ways according to each family. And it is that the return to the routine, the purchases of September or the separation of the children do not all live in the same way.

For Dena Blizzard, an American mother who has recorded a video on this subject that in a few days has gone viral, the Purchases for the start of the course should not be a problem for parents, and we should give the teachers everything they ask us because, after all, they will take care of our children all year long without any complaint on their part. Criticisms of his comments have not been expected.

Back to school in a humorous way

Dena Blizzard is a North American mother of three children who works as a humorist in television shows and monologues focused on motherhood and childrearing. His website, full of videos of his day to day as a mom, recreate everyday scenes and monologues that sometimes reach millions of views.

This has been the case of one of his latest videos published, entitled "Back to School Costs Rant", in which Dena critically criticizes parents who complain about purchases Back to school.

While walking through a supermarket willing to buy all the school supplies your children will need, it is recorded and in an angry, but humorous tone, requires parents to give teachers everything they ask us and we facilitate the task of looking after our children throughout the year.

"Do you know how much I would pay teachers to take my children out of my sight?"

"If there is a person willing to teach History to my son and I have no idea, and that person asks me for a yellow file cabinet, how can I not buy it?"

"How is it possible that we complain about spending so much money on school supplies when they spend many hours a day in being with our children and they don't hate them?"

"You are not even allowed to hit your children! Do you understand what I am saying?"

"I would like to kill my children but the teachers, I don't know how you do it, that you don't even hate them"

And he continues his particular monologue putting in the shopping cart lots of things that have nothing to do with school supplies. Things aimed at teachers, whom he admires for enduring children throughout the year:

"Are you going on vacation? - (asks alluding to the teacher) - I buy you a suitcase! Do you need a candle to relax for taking care of my children? I also buy it for you! I buy you a microwave, a pillow! Please! They will be with our children all year long. I buy you everything you ask me!"

"Stop with your complaints! Get out there and buy all the material you are asked for and embrace your children's teacher on the first day of school" - concludes

Criticism for the economic waste that this mother defends

The video has been published in several of Dena's social channels, but it has been on his Facebook page where it has had the greatest impact, being shared more than 300,000 times and with more than 20 million views.

But not everyone liked this video and while many parents and teachers have praised the clear and direct way that this mother has had to say things, other users they have felt offended with their words and have criticized the waste of money that many families have to face when school starts:

"Many families struggle to have a roof over their heads and a plate of food on the table. Some families are unable to pay their children a lunch at school, so when some parents realize the endless list of school supplies that you have to buy, you simply cannot pay the money that costs those pencils in particular. It is difficult for some families "- reflected a user on Facebook.

"I will stop complaining about buying everything they ask for when I stop having such a ridiculous salary" - says another user.

"I never complain about buying school supplies. I complain when half of what I buy comes home in June ... unused! And by then it can't be returned and I could have saved it. That's what I complain "- says an indignant mother.

These are just a few examples of the comments aimed at the important financial outlay that families must make at the beginning of the course and that, in some occasions, can be real headaches for some parents.

Criticism for wanting to take their children off

However, not all the complaints that the Dena Blizzard video has received have been directed to the economic aspect, since many have been the parents who have criticized that this mother wants to take her children off at the expense of teachers.

"Not knowing anything about History? Not wanting to teach your children? This is not something to be presumed on social networks. I would buy everything my son's teacher asked me, but not because he is taking me off my son from above but because I want both to have all the tools they need to achieve success "- reflected a mother.

"I am a teacher and I appreciate your support, but if you do not want to spend time with your children, why do you have them? It is your problem, not the teacher or your children" - commented a teacher outraged.

"I couldn't even see the video. How sad! If you hate your children so much, why have you had them? Some people are destined to be mothers but this lady is clearly not. I feel bad for her children." - laments another uruaria.

"It is really pathetic that you want to get rid of your children with such desire to buy anything a teacher asks you. I am terrified of the start of school. I love it when my son is at home with me. You know the only thing that does not can you recover in life? Time! Time with your children. I die on weekends, school vacations and summer "

And it is that the theme of the beginning of the course linked to the joy that some families show by "losing sight" of the children, is not well received by others, who consider it a lack of tact and empathy towards the little ones.

Dena Blizzard has defended herself from the criticisms received by mentioning that her videos are always recorded in a humorous way, but this time it seems that her jokes have not been accepted willingly by everyone. What do you think about it? Is there a reason for criticism?
