Scout is three years old and already knows what feminism is. It all started as a hobby to get distracted when your grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer and at this point she has become a tribute to feminism.
When his grandmother began to lose his hair, Scout became very worried, so his mother wanted to explain that women are fighters telling him stories of strong and famous women who became icons of feminism. Thus the idea of making an album for his grandmother came up with photos of the girl imitating celebrities like Adele, Frida Kahlo or Emma Watson to remember the strength that women have to face the challenges of life.
Carrying out the idea took them about a year. They made a list of strong women and talked about each one of them. Then they chose the photo they wanted to imitate and after characterizing the girl, the mother made the photos she shared on her Instagram account.
“The whole project was a blessing to me and to Scout. And showing it to my mother was priceless. Every minute I spent planning, organizing, shooting and editing the images, it was worth 100%, ”said the mother of the child.Scout and his grandmother
Fortunately his grandmother, the inspiration of the project, survived the cancer and they could take a photo together that symbolizes the feminine power and the love between granddaughter and grandmother.
