A year ago we talked about the wonderful awareness campaign "Get up for a pregnant woman" in which it was tried to show the population that pregnant women may need to sit on the bus.
It is true that they are not sick, but it is also true that many do not get along too well to stand a long time, and it a matter of education and respect giving her the seat in case she wants to accept the offer.
However, it seems that it will be difficult to do so because an undesirable side effect has been discovered (I speak ironically, of course) when I see a pregnant woman on the bus: people get in sudden drowsiness and such a deep sleep, that not even wanting to give up the seat could do it.
The image was shared on his Facebook by José Falla R, from Colombia, and we wanted to share it to try to offer a solution for the people on the bus, who when they get pregnant, fall asleep hopelessly.
How not to fall asleep to give the seat to pregnant women
Given the risk of sudden drowsiness even causing them to lengthen their journey and move from the stop to which they were heading, I have thought that one of the following may be a good solution:
- That the driver do not open the door to any pregnant woman so that none of the passengers suffer such annoying symptoms (although for pregnant women it is a problem).
- To do buses only for pregnant women... they, it seems, are immune to this effect, so they would not sleep when they saw other pregnant women.
- That the driver warns the passengers that a pregnant woman is going to climb: this way they can lie on the ground before falling by accident in case anyone falls asleep faster than recommended.
- That the driver gets up, approaches a person and forces her to stand up so that the pregnant woman can sit: as we see in the photo, the people who are standing do not suffer such annoying symptoms (although it would be unfortunate, because the driver does not have to do the function of parent of adults).
- Offer a special suit to the pregnant women: a suit that conceals the pregnancy, in case the effect is visual, and that does not allow passengers to smell it, in case the effect is when inhaling the substances that the pregnant women naturally emanate through their exocrine glands.
- That people stop being so hypocritical and that recover education and the ability to empathize with others: just offer the seat to be kind, just think that if we were she would want to be treated like this. The pregnant woman can say no, or she can say yes, because she may need it more than the others.
The saddest thing is that it seems to me that the last of the possible solutions seems the most difficult to accomplish. I'm wrong?
