Diaper Analysis: Dodot vs. Huggies

It is true that there are more diaper brands which we will also talk about at the time, but for starters I will talk about the two best sellers in Spain, Huggies and Dodot.

With my first daughter I always used Dodot and also for almost the whole year of the youngest, so I didn't risk changing, especially if we take into account that if you don't like them, you "stick" with more than 100 diapers.

Recently I had no choice but to buy some Huggies because there were no Dodot of the size I needed. And I said, why not, to try them.

None has seemed unquestionably better than the other, however I have noticed some advantages of the Dodot Stages compared to the Huggies, and vice versa.

With respect to Dodot:

● The size of diapers is very small. They make less bulk both in the place where we keep them and in the baby's ass. The difference between the two is not much, but it does count.

● Absorption is maximum. It perfectly supports the pee all night keeping the ass dry and therefore less diapers are changed per day.

● It is very practical that two individual packages come in the savings pack.

With respect to Huggies:

● Something that does not have the Dodot Stages (only the Dodot Activity) and is much appreciated by fathers of overflowing babies is the back elastic and that the leg elastics support the lateral escapes better. When they are with diarrhea, they must be completely changed.

● They have a price is more convenient.

● As against, sometimes the strips are broken to stick.

As a moral, I have learned that it is okay to try and not be blinded by a single brand. As a suggestion, manufacturers could make small “trial” packages so parents are more encouraged to change.

But like everything else, there are brands that are better for a baby than for another, either because those of one irritate her butt more than those of the other, because he gets pimples or because with that he walks like a duck ... the reasons are diverse.

Which brand is best for you?
